The guide Tina was wonderful! She met us at the hotel and stayed with us throughout the trip. The only negative is the snorkeling equipment the boat had was very old and poor quality so couldn't see clearly through the mask.

Immerse yourself in the local culture with this boat experience that will enable you to explore the Diani community and its unique hospitality.

Experience the warmth of the local people as they guide you through the waters, explain to you about the fishing, and then to the sand bank. The glass boat offers you a nice view of the Diani marine life. Enjoy a show put up by the experienced captain/boat operator.

Watch as your captain throws a piece of bread or food into the sea and dives beneath the glass-bottomed boat to attract special fish species that are not allowed to be fished courtesy of a local agreement by all fishermen and boat operators. Watch as the fish are attracted to the glass boat creating a spectacular show.

Enjoy the breeze, the views, and photos on top of an upper compartment that visitors can safely climb. Party, lazily bask, or swim at the sandbank for 45-minutes.

The guide will tell you exactly when is the perfect time to see the beautiful fishes and enjoy the sandbank. The captain show under the boast is just super fun and original. He agreed to take me for a mini tour in the local shops with local prices and that for free. He knows a lot about the history of Diani and Kenya in general. The experience is just amazing for such a low price. Recommend 100%.
