Our group did this tour end of June. The bus is a double decker bus and was completely full full tour. The guide had music playing during transport when he wasn’t talking which was a first for us on a tour and was a little strange. It was a rainy morning and so our stop at Afsluitdijk wasn’t great as couldn’t see much on the drive…quick stop for the toilet (which you have to pay for) and a very quick snack if you want. I’d skip and wait until Giethoorn to eat and get a drink. Giethoorn wasn’t very busy with a rainy cool day so it wasn’t overly crowded which was wonderful. Had lots of time to wander around this adorable town and get something to eat and drink. All in all a good tour that we enjoyed.
