Delphi was a fascinating site to explore. It’s full of rich and complex history and the museum exhibits helped illuminate some of that. We went in reverse order — museum first then the site. The museum text panels were informative and helped explain what we then saw. But it was challenging going through the museum among all the tour groups. We entered the site at 4, so it was still hot but there was shade to be found — and way fewer people. The light was lovely too as we stayed till closing in order to get up to the stadium. Wish we’d had time to go across the road to the gymnasium and temple but…. Next time. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is you’re paying more than if you bought the ticket directly. But GYG’s app makes it easy to have and show your ticket. Happy overall!

When you arrive, simply scan your ticket at the ticket-validating machines at the entrance and enter inside to start exploring the site and its ruins with your own personal audio guide (download instructions received after booking on your voucher).
See the temple of Apollo, the theatre, the stadium, the sanctuary of Athena Pronaia with the Tholos, the Kastalia Spring, and several treasuries. The archaeological museum on-site also contains numerous significant Greek artifacts from the excavations in the area.
Listen to licensed guides and experts on storytelling present you with historical information and narrate original handpicked stories as you explore.

  • Only for the entrance to the Archaeological Museum of Delphi, you need to choose a specific time and day of visit. For the archaeological site of Delphi, you can enter anytime you wish, strictly on the selected date of your booking.
  • Travel date and entry time slot cannot be amended
  • This ticket is for travelers over 25 years. Reduced-price tickets are not available online
  • Infants aged 0-5, and EU citizens under 25 receive free admission and Non-EU citizens under 25 receive a reduced-price entry upon providing their ID at the ticket booth
  • The Delphi Archaeological Site and Delphi Museum are open from November to March from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM and June to August from 8 AM to 8 PM. On Tuesdays, opening hours are from 10 AM to 5 PM. For the rest of the months, opening hours differ due to a gradual change in the length of the day. Please check opening hours before your visit
  • Instructions for the audio guide will be sent with the voucher

What an amazing place to visit. The scenery is magical and the actual site is steeped in archeological history and mythology. It was one of the best days of our time in Greece. well worth the trip.
