Upon disembarkation at the cruise port, your guide will meet you at a designated meeting point We'll begin the tour with a panoramic drive through Zea Marina, Kastela, and Microlimano, heading towards the Faliro area and the oldest port of Athens. We’ll pass by Olympiakos and Peace and Friendship Stadiums, and other 2004 Olympic facilities. Next, see at the Panathenaic Stadium, rebuilt in 1896 and where the Olympic flame is carried. Then, we’ll visit the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Zappeion, and the Arch of Hadrian, followed by Constitution Square and the Parliament . We’ll also see the Monument to the Unknown Soldier and pass by the neoclassical University, Academy, and Library buildings. Our main stop will be a walking tour in the charming district of Plaka, where we'll stroll through its picturesque streets, explore the traditional shops, and enjoy the local atmosphere. I found the three routes very nice. When we were at the bus stop in Guide, we were immediately told when the next bus was coming. I can recommend the 48-hour ticket for all 3 lines.
