Really good driver and guide. The hike was really easy and beautiful. Good hiking shoes are a blessing and they will make your hike much easier and more enjoyable. The beach in Chora Sfakion is beautiful and less crowded than other Cretan beaches. But the water isn't shallow, so if you are not a very good swimmer, it's better to just walk around the place and enjoy the stunning view. Samaria Gorge was closed because of the very hot weather, that's why I chose Imbrose Gorge instead, but even if it's not such a great challange as Samaria, the beauty of it is worth it ☀️

Excellent trip, very punctual and perfect for a solo traveller like myself, who doesn't drive but does want to explore some less easily accessible places. Our guide Thomas was knowledgeable and gave us a ton of info during the coach sections. The hike itself is easy if you're physically fit, just be sure to take appropriate footwear. It's also stunning! Part two of the day was a visit to Skafia, which is beautiful, and no lie the Skafian Salad I had at Lefka Ori was the best salad I've ever had

Full description

You will be picked up at your hotel in the Chania area and then journey by bus to the Imbros Gorge in the eastern part of the White Mountains of Crete. Upon arrival you will enjoy an easy 3-hour hike through the narrow passages and marvel at the stunning rock formations, with an expert guide to teach you about the area.

During your descent you will see famous locations such as the Stenada, Mesofarango, and Xepitira Arch. You exit the gorge at Komitades village, where a bus will be waiting to bring you to Chora Sfakion for some relaxing free time at one of the taverns or cafes overlooking the sea.

Continue by bus to the south coast, and visit a beautiful beach for a refreshing swim in the Libyan Sea. You can relax and enjoy a traditional lunch before the bus trip back to the Chania area.

Great day hiking through Imbros gorge. Excellent guide, compact programme. Could probably hear small section of WWII history since the Allied flags on the beach are still there. It was too warm for Samaria, luckily have done it before.
