- Please wait in front of the pickup point, on the main road. There will be a sign in front of the bus with the name of the destinations (Menies Beach and Chironisia Bay). Drivers will wait no longer than 5 minutes after the scheduled pickup time.

we had a lovely day. the communication was great when we had to change the day. lovely waters to swim in. Boat was busy but had ample space. Only improvement might be to detail that it's just crisps and drinks for sale on the boat, I thought there might be some other food.
We met the guide and the rest of our group at the port as we are staying in Kolymbari, the boat left of time. We had a great trip to Menies beach for 2 hours, we snorkelled and sunbathed: There is a little swim to the shore however the crew have baskets and paddle boards to get our things over to the beach. We then stopped at Charisosa bay which was gorgeous too, we didn’t dock up at the beach but the opportunity for 30 minutes to jump in and snorkel some more. A great short trip for those looking for a small group to a more sucluded beach and bay. Defo worth the money.

Full description
Explore the wild natural beauty and the crystal-clear waters of two majestic hidden beaches on this guided cruise from Kolymbari to Menies and Chironisia. Use the provided snorkeling gear to uncover the remains of a sunken gun and carriage from WWII.
Choose from a tour that meets on the boat in the harbor of Kolymbari or that includes convenient hotel pickup and drop-off from select locations in north Chania. Set off a comfortable and spacious boat.
Feel the wind in your hair as you glide to Menies beach which is on the site of ancient Diktynna, where the most important temple of the goddess Vritomartis was located. See the remains of the ancient Roman temple as well as a 9th century abandoned monastery of St. George.
Put on your snorkel gear to explore some underwater items from WWII before heading to Chironisia Bay, a small hidden bay that is only accessible by the sea. Plunge into the deep blue waters where you can venture into small caves with the snorkel gear.
