Everything was smooth for us and what a relief after reading about some of the negatives. We really appreciated the experience, and even it though it wasn’t advertised as whale watching we got to see them on our trip which put the experience over the top for us. My main take away was, treat it like you would a local/regional plane ride. There is a check in, security, and boarding process that takes time. Follow the recommendations for check in times and all should go as planned!

Approximately 3-hour ferry ride to Victoria. You have 5 hours to explore the city. Not cheap, but well organized and a reliable provider. We would recommend the trip.
