Our Small Group day tour to Unesco world heritage Dolomites Mountains very early departure is to guarantee a better experience in an area that year after year has seen a growing number of visitors . Leaving early will allow us to beat the crowds and enjoy an overall more rewarding experience. The tour features the famous Dolomites town of Cortina, the awe-inspiring Tre Cime di Lavaredo that you will see from various scenic viewpoints, and the beautiful mountain Lakes. Spend plenty of time at lake Misurina, where you’ll have the opportunity to walk around the lake, stop at one of the nice restaurants around the lake or in summer take a cable lift up to Col De Varda ( not included in the price- about 13 € per person) mountain hut for walking opportunities and offering enchanting views over Lake Misurina and the famous Dolomites mountain ranges, such as Sorapis and Mount Cristallo. Enjoy numerous scenic stops at panoramic viewpoints throughout the day before returning back to Venice at about 6.00pm In Winter months we will feature Cortina, Enchanting Lake Braies and the beautiful village of San Candido right on the border with Austria. Christhmas markets in the village to be enjoyed until beginning of January.

Begin your Dolomites day tour by getting picked up at Venice's Piazzale Roma, the large square in the city center. Drive for about 90 minutes to your first stop at Pieve di Cadore, a charming historic town with a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the lake of Centro Cadore. Then, go to Auronzo and enjoy a photo stop at the lake dam where you can sometimes see the water rushing through gates. Afterward, enjoy a long stop at Lake Misurina, also known as the “Pearl of the Dolomites”. Walk around the gorgeous lake and have lunch at a restaurant serving local food. In the summer you can rent a small boat to get around the lake or ride the panoramic chairlift to the Col de Varda Viewpoint (not included). Next, head to Cortina d'Ampezzo, the village that will host the next Olympic Winter Games in 2026. Have a walk through the most prestigious and well-known street of the Dolomites, the Corso Italia pedestrian area. Get dropped off back in Venice at the end of your tour.

Drive through the ever-changing scenery of the mountains, spending some time in Cortina d’Ampezzo, the ‘Queen of the Dolomites’. Walk around Lake Misurina, the ‘Pearl of the Dolomites’, and enjoy a splendid view of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, the area's representative peaks. On the way back, drive through the Prosecco road, which houses the finest vineyards and wineries producing the highest quality Proseccos. Otherwise take the panoramic chairlift to reach “Col del Varda” at 2106 meters (tickets not included, to pay on spot) and breathe the fresh mountain air, it will reward you with yet more unforgettable views of the Dolomites. After lunch (not included), we will finally arrive at the last stop: Cortina d'Ampezzo, nicknamed the “Pearl of the Dolomites,” you will have approximately 30 minutes free time to stroll around the town, and take in the picturesque views of the mountains. Cortina d’Ampezzo will host the 2026 Winter Olympics Games, the famous international multi sport event, also know as Milano - Cortina 2026.
