Full description

Explore two of Cork’s most iconic destinations on this afternoon half-day tour.

This memorable tour combines history, culture, and stunning landscapes in just a few hours. You’ll start with a visit to Blarney Castle, where you can kiss the legendary Blarney Stone or simply enjoy the beautiful gardens and grounds. Afterward, travel to Cobh, a charming seaside town with rich maritime history, famously known as Titanic’s last port of call.

With ample time at both locations, this tour is perfect for those short on time but eager to see the best of Cork.

Itinerary

Departure from Cork
Your adventure begins with a scenic drive through Cork’s charming suburbs and picturesque countryside. This peaceful journey offers a tranquil introduction to the Irish landscape, setting the stage for the afternoon’s discoveries.

14:00 – Blarney Castle (EUR 22.00 entrance fee included)
The first stop is the legendary Blarney Castle, blending history, myth, and natural beauty. Once there, you’ll have time to explore the castle and its grounds.

Start by climbing the ancient stone staircase to reach the famous Blarney Stone, believed to grant the gift of eloquence to those who kiss it. The climb is an unforgettable experience, offering views of the castle’s medieval architecture. At the summit, enjoy sweeping vistas of the lush countryside and gardens.

Afterward, wander through the stunning gardens, known as one of Ireland’s finest. Explore peaceful paths, hidden grottos, and the mystical Rock Close, filled with ancient yew trees. Whether drawn to the Blarney Stone’s legend or simply the beauty of the grounds, this visit will leave a lasting impression.

*Note: Your entrance fee is included, and we ensure priority access on busy days.*

16:00 – Cobh (Titanic’s Last Port of Call)
Next, visit Cobh, a picturesque coastal town steeped in maritime history. Known for being the Titanic’s last port of call, it offers a fascinating look at Ireland’s seafaring past. Upon arrival, enjoy the colorful waterfront and the towering St. Colman’s Cathedral overlooking the harbor.

You’ll have 90 minutes to explore the town. Stroll along the scenic harbor, lined with Victorian houses, and visit the Titanic Memorial, honoring passengers who departed from here, many never to return. Cobh also boasts museums highlighting the town’s role in Irish emigration and its maritime legacy.

For a more relaxed experience, take in the views from the harbor or stop by The Titanic Bar & Grill for a pint of Murphy’s Stout or a comforting cup of tea. If you have Irish ancestry, it’s moving to walk the same streets once trodden by your ancestors.

18:15 – Arrive Back in Cork
After an afternoon of exploration, return to Cork at 18:15, having visited two of the region’s most iconic destinations. This tour offers the perfect balance of history, culture, and stunning views, all in just a few hours.

It was not what i expected. It felt very rushed and even though our driver was knowledgeable and very polite we had to rush through all stops . it felt like he was rushing to finish the day . It was advertised as we will be having at least 1.5 to 2 hours in each stop but we only had one hour , which was not enough to enjoy the places or do any activities .
