Coral Sea Marina

Get picked up from the nearest meeting point and begin your beach adventure. Board a comfortable speedboat and head to your first stop, an idyllic snorkeling location off-shore. Spend about an hour snorkeling in the fringes of the Great Barrier Reef and exploring the area's marine life. Next, head to the world-famous Whitehaven Beach. Relax on the beach and enjoy a fresh buffet, including salad, shrimp, a meat platter, fruit salads, bread rolls, and wraps. Hop back on the boat and head to your last stop, Hill Inlet Lookout. Spend about an hour admiring the stunning views from this perfect vantage point before returning back to shore. From July to September, keep an eye out for humpback whales as they migrate.

Depart from the Coral Sea Marina in the Northern Village, which is only a short walk from the main street of Airlie Beach. You will cruise around Pioneer Bay and then get up close to many of the points of interest along the Airlie Beach coastline. If you are lucky, you will be able to spot turtles on the way, and on Wednesdays you can see the locals on their weekly yacht race. Watch a picture-perfect sunset and observe Airlie start to light up at dusk, whilst enjoying a glass of bubbly.  The Sundowner is a fully covered purpose-built catamaran designed for socializing. Unlike a yacht, it has a flat surface and no trip hazards. There is ample room to move, and high heels are welcome. Plenty of seating is available on board, and every seat has a great view of the Ocean.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy a 2-hour sail to the first snorkel location. These reefs are home to some of the most spectacular coral formations and an incredible range of marine life in the Great Barrier Reef and Whitsundays. The accredited ECO guides will provide in-depth history about the islands and their marine life. Enjoy a delicious lunch break on the deck of Tongarra in the middle of a small tropical oasis — the perfect place to soak up the spectacular views before setting sail again. After lunch, take a short trip to the beautiful Langford Island Sandbar. Join your guide in hiking to the scenic bushwalk or relax on the sands of this idyllic location. Next up, take a ride in paradise on the banana boat ride followed by snorkelling one of the nearby fringing reefs off of Black Island or Hook Island. You will then sail back to Coral Sea Marina, taking in the sunset on return, returning at 6-6.30PM.

Set sail towards the Whitsundays, arriving at one of our favorite beach locations to hang out, swim, and watch the sunset while grazing on delicious snacks. Once back on board, you will head to your overnight anchorage location, where it’s time to enjoy dinner and dessert, get to know your new mates, have a few drinks, relax under the stars, and let the calm water gently rock you to sleep. Day 2: Whitsunday Islands Wake up to a yummy breakfast as you cruise to Tongue Bay. Take a scenic bushwalk to Hill Inlet. Look for breathtaking views of Whitehaven Beach and the swirling sands of the inlet. Once you have perfected your shots, head down to spend a relaxing 3 hours on Whitehaven beach. Lunch is served back on board before you set sail to your two handpicked snorkel destinations with plenty of marine life once you are snorkeled out (if there is such a thing), head to another one of our favorite beach locations for sunset snacks before heading to your overnight anchorage. Day 3: Whitsunday Islands – Airlie Beach Soak up the stunning scenery surrounding you while you eat breakfast before heading off for one last snorkel or a guided bush walk on one of the islands. We then set sail back to Airlie Beach, arriving around 11 am. But the fun doesn't stop there! Enjoy the afternoon in Airlie, return to your accommodation, freshen up, and join your new friends for an after-party with a reserved table, meal deals, and drink discounts.

Onboard is your bar, restaurant and café – have an alfresco breakfast on the open observation deck, enjoy a fine wine over dinner in the main saloon or order an espresso coffee during afternoon tea. All your meals and select non-alcoholic beverages are included. Day 1: Guests board at either Coral Sea Marina or via transfer from Hamilton Island. Whitsunday Explorer departs Coral Sea Marina passing through Molle Island group and across the Whitsunday Passage, before dropping anchor at Cid Harbour for the evening. Enjoy drinks on the observation deck before settling into the main saloon for dinner with the Captain followed by an itinerary briefing for the upcoming days. Day 2: Start your day with an alfresco breakfast on the upper observation deck or in the main saloon as we set sail to drop anchor near Whitsunday Island. Board our high-speed rigid inflatable Island Adventurer for a quick transfer to the brilliant white sands of world famous Whitehaven Beach to swim, walk and explore at your leisure. Jump back on Island Adventurer for a short cruise up to Tongue Bay and the Hill Inlet Lookout Track. Marvel at the marbled ever-changing patterns created by shallow blue water and moving white silica sand. Refuel with lunch on Whitsunday Explorer as we set sail to Hook Passage. From here we’ll launch the Island Adventurer to explore Nara Inlet and the ancient rock wall paintings of the indigenous Ngaro people. Our final destination for the day is Langford Island – the perfect spot for snorkelling with sheltered waters and coral systems teeming with vibrant marine life including a large population of green turtles. Back onboard our small ship take in the sunset as we cruise to Long Island to anchor. Enjoy drinks and dinner in the main saloon at your leisure, why not treat yourself to a nightcapunder the stars on the observation deck. Day 3: Enjoy breakfast alfresco or in the main saloon. Explore Long Island’s shores and walking tracks at your own pace. A crew member will always accompany guests ashore. Return to the mother ship for your return cruise to Coral Sea Marina, Airlie Beach arriving 11:00am. Guests returning to Hamilton Island will connect with their dedicated transfer vessel and land at 10:00am.
