Chrissi Island

Start your boat cruise from the port of Ierapetra and head to the exotic Chrissi. Sail in the emerald waters of the Libyan Sea, accompanied by seagulls and dolphins. The self-service bar of the ship remains open during the cruise, offering light meals, with salads, wine, soft drinks, coffee, and ice cream available to purchase. Jump off the boat and swim in the refreshing water off the coast of Chrissi Island. After a relaxing swim, dry off on board and enjoy views of the island's blue and green waters, golden beaches, and protected cedar forest. The cedar forest extends to the center of Chrissi, covering an area of 350,000 square meters. The colors of the rocks are spectacular, while almost the entire island is covered by golden sand. 

Travel from selected locations on Crete by bus to the town of Ierapetra and board a comfortable boat. This small island is only 7 kilometers in length and covers an area of 4,743 kilometers.   Moor on either south or north side of the island, swim in Chrissi Island's most stunning turquoise waters and soak up the sun in this magical place of natural beauty. Return to the port in Ierapetra by boat, taking in views of the fort as you land. Transfer by bus back to your accommodation.

Meet at 9:30 am at our meeting point located in Galini (between Ierapetra and Makrigialos). You will be welcomed by our guide (French/English) who will give you all the instructions on the vehicle as well as the safety instructions to be respected. You will also have the opportunity to take a test drive to familiarize yourself with the Quad. We will leave Galini to head towards the mountains of southern Crete where we will cross olive groves. You will be able to admire stalactites as well as the beauty of the mountains during our first stop where you can take pictures. We will then continue on our way and cross a small mountain village before entering a forest where you can discover various Mediterranean plant species. We will make our second stop to admire an exceptional panorama of the Libyan Sea We will continue our walk on steep paths and cross a sheepfold before visiting an Orthodox chapel isolated in the mountains. We will then climb to a plateau with a breathtaking 360° view (you will discover the Cretan Sea with the bay of Mirabello, Agio Nicholaos and Elounda for the North part, as well as the Libyan Sea with the islands Chrissi and Koufounissi for the South part). After this break we will begin our descent to a pretty mountain village with a breathtaking view to share a typical Cretan lunch in a charming traditional tavern. We will then continue our descent to Galini, via winding Cretan roads, to reach our meeting point.

Head to the port of Ierapetra where you will begin the 20-minute journey to Chrissi Island, admiring emerald green waters along the way. Upon arrival on the island, enjoy a walk on the white sand beaches and explore the extraordinary beauty of Europe's southernmost natural park. After your return to the yacht, cruise to a quiet bay where you can dive in crystal-clear waters. Make use of the snorkeling gear provided to explore the untouched and beautiful seabed of Chrissi Island. You can also enjoy a spot of fishing with the onboard fishing equipment. Relax with a drink while the crew prepares your lunch with fresh, local ingredients, guests. After lunch, enjoy another dip in the sea before returning to Ierapetra and heading back to your hotel.

Sail to Chrissi Island on our luxurious yacht with a small group! Our journey will begin from the port of Ierapetra. Our crew will meet you right at the bell tower of Ierapetra. After boarding you will be greeted to our yacht with a few drinks while the captain will give you a few tips and safety briefing. Also, from our yacht you will be able to use our snorkeling and paddle boarding equipment and explore the nearby underwater world. If you choose to explore the island by land, make sure not to leave the boat from your sight and be back in time for our delicious menu. You will have around 2 hours before our table is served that will include Shrimp Linguine, Mushroom/truffle risotto (gluten free, vegan, vegetarian), Greek salad and several Cretan appetizers. After lunch you will visit a second bay of the island if the weather allows so, and have the chance to enjoy the crystalline waters once more or simply relax on our yacht and feel the wind breeze and the sun.
