From Skopje: Private Tour of Sopot Winery with Lunch

The tour to Sopot winery is not good value for money at all! The collection at our hotel in a lovely new e class Mercedes was lovely but completely unnecessary. The winery tour itself is short with a swift look at the vats and barrels. The wine tasting (5 wines is more of a wine pairing with 5 courses of traditional Macedonian food. All very pleasant until two coachloads of schoolchildren were hosted for lunch. So for over an hour of our wine tasting / lunch we had the cacophony of over 60 young children running around, playing and shouting. If you wish to visit the Winery, take a taxi and order from the menu. You’ll save 80% on the price of this tour

It was not worth the high price.
