A great day trip to see some of César Manrique's most famous sites and sculptures across Lanzarote. We loved the beautiful cactus garden and Jameos del agua, and after a rare rainstorm, we got to see a rainbow over La Graciosa from the Mirador del Rio. The buffet lunch looked fine but a bit expensive at 15€ a head, so we brought a packed lunch with us and enjoyed a walk around the village of Haria instead. The monument to the campesinos is currently being rebuilt after it was damaged in a storm, which is no one's fault, but a shorter stop there to allow more time at the Fundación would have been nice. The tour guide was very friendly, explaining everything in English, German and then Spanish. I particularly appreciated her explanations of the best routes through each of the places we visited before we arrived, and clear instructions about how much time we had to spend there. Very helpful for those of us who sometimes feel overwhelmed in new and busy places.

Excellent guide Melissa, very informative and multilingual. Explained lots about the history of the sites we visited. Walked to the pick up stop in Arrecife bus interchange, picked up on time and then zoomed off to an extra stop at Playa de Femara (very pretty). Spent 15 mins there to take pics then went to teguise market. Parked a 5 minute walk from the market itself - very busy, lots of nice local artisan stuff in amongst the usual towels and sunglasses. Musicians everywhere were a really nice addition. I also went to the church, the art centre and a series of galleries which were great. We had 1 HR 40 on teguise. There's also a supermarket near the bus stop and a public toilet near the church. Then off to Cesar Manrique Foundation - really interesting and our guide came in with us and gave us an overview which was good. Really worth a look, cool building. We had 1 HR at this stop. Then back to where I was collected. Would recommend this trip

Really good excursion. Bus was on time. Our guide Rosa was lovely. The caves were spectacular. The Cesar Manrique Foundation was interesting. Great to see the influence he's had on the island and to hear about his perspective on the tourism industry built up by speculators. Teguise was a gorgeous and quaint little town. Cactus Garden was fun. Could do without the Aloe museum stop. Overall was a brilliant day.

the day was brilliant. radmila was an excellent guide, and the driver was great. I knew a bit about Cesar manrique before the day, but now know so much more. all entry fees to exhibits were paid for & we got straight in, past any queues! we didn't opt for the buffet lunch, but it sounded to be good value.
