Really good tour to the Rosario Islands, stopping off for a little history at the forts before making your way to the Islands. No one went to the Oceanarium so we gained a little bit of time on Islabela Island. Snorkelling was ok, and lunch was nice. Our tour guide Miguel was brilliant throughout, spoke fantastic English. Would recommend.

Full description
The tour runs from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, beginning in Cartagena. It includes a visit to Tierra Bomba Island's San Fernando Fort (30mins), a scenic pass-by of Baru Island (10 mins), a snorkeling session in a vibrant lagoon teeming with various fish species (1hr), a viewing of Pablo Escobar's former estate (10 mins), a stop for leisurely lunch at a beach club (2hrs), and finally a visit at Islabela Island OR the Oceanarium (2 hrs) - (READ NOTES).
NOTES: The Oceanarium stop is OPTIONAL and does not include the 40,000 COP entrance fee, which is why we offer Islabela Island as a complimentary alternative. The boat will stop at the Oceanarium either way, and you can decide whether to go or skip it on the day of the tour. Boat rides are bumpy & MAY not suitable for: infants, the old, injured or weak, and or pregnant; book at your own risk. A cash-only tourist port tax of 29,000 COP must be paid in person at the pier. Please arrive on time. Account for a rainy forecast and be prepared. Swim attire is a must. We reserve the right to cancel or change a stop due to weather. We do not provide pickups.

Meeting point
Meeting point is at the Monumento Santander (IN FRONT OF Muelle de la Bodeguita - Puerta 1) where the tour guides will meet you. Locate the statue that is in the middle of a roundabout. Please be ready to show your voucher for a quick check in process. Afterward, you'll head to the nearby pier to commence the tour. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early, the guides will arrive at 8AM. Please account for traffic. Uber is the best way to get around, please type as your destination: 'Muelle de la Bodeguita - Puerta 1' to arrive exactly where you should be and easily identify the statue. Should you encounter any issues locating the point, please send a WhatsApp message to the number provided for immediate assistance and a location photo.
