From Sorrento: Day Trip to Capri with Blue Grotto

We had a lovely day in Capri. We were met by Fulvio who gave us a run down of the day so we knew what to expect. We got on the boat at 0800 and went over to Capri Island. We were advised to use the blue buses instead of the public ones as the queue was huge. The blue buses were more expensive at €25 each but they were hop on/hop off all day and made getting around the island much easier and quicker. I would recommend going to Anacapri first to go on the chair lift to the top of the island as the queues by lunchtime were huge. The chair lift was €14 each and was fantastic. The views are spectacular. I was worried about the height but even though you are high up the cliff you are not that high from the floor. Despite not liking heights I’m so glad I did it. The boat tour around the island was good fun, amazing scenery and hilarious commentary. The blue grotto was closed unfortunately due to waves. I would thoroughly recommend. The whole day was very well organised.
