Full description

In the morning, you will depart Bucharest with the luxury van / minibus. The first stop will be in Curtea de Arges and you will have 15 minutes free time break for coffee. Then, you will transported over the famous Transfagarasan road to the incredible Balea Lake set at over 2000m.

Enjoy the afternoon on the Top Gear Road with a range activities including the little hiking to Balea Lake and traditional Romanian food tasting. You will have free time to explore the surroundings. You can enjoy the lovely lunch on the top of the mountain in Balea Chalet or Platinu Chalet.

Please do not forget your camera, as you will be surprised seeing the wild brown bears on the way to Balea Lake. Be ready as bears tend to join the side of the road. Also, on the road you will see Poenari Citadel, Vlad The Impaler's Citadel and the famous Vidraru Dam.

In the late afternoon, you will be transferred back to Bucharest.
