Incredible! Benjamin (Ben) was our guide (English/no accent) and he was very knowledgeable of surrounding mountain stories and site locations. Ask questions and will most likely know an answer. He provided us ample time to enjoy our drop offs and for lunch, he was kind enough to prepare us with the options there were and that there may be tight lines. He save us a few minutes walking across the lot by dropping us at the stores. This tour also had a small bus which had much more room and comfort than a small passenger van. The sites speak for themselves and are incredible. I highly suggest this tour company for all tours. The others I took after this were not even close to compare. Ben deserves a bonus because of his care for touring and not just feeling that it’s another days work. Thank you Ben!

Full description

Experience a full-day group tour of Banff National Park’s most iconic lakes, including Lake Louise and Moraine Lake from Calgary. Embark on the best hiking trail at Johnston Canyon, and explore the highlights of a hidden gem and Banff town.

Meet your local guide in Calgary and board your air-conditioned van for the day. Drive toward Lake Louise, and enjoy a perfect photo opportunity by the pristine shores of the glacial lake.

Continue to Moraine Lake and take in spectacular views of the scenic lake surrounded by mountains. (From October 14–May 31, Moraine Lake will be replaced by Emerald Lake and Natural Bridge)

Next, hike a trail at Johnston Canyon to discover the area's picturesque waterfalls. Finish the tour by immersing yourself in Banff Avenue before getting dropped off back in Calgary.

  • Lunch stop will be at Lake Louise Village or Lake Louise Ski resort
  • You may choose the pickup & drop off points of Canalta Lodge Banff, Travel Alberta Canmore Visitor Center or Delta Calgary Downtown Hotel (Inform us if drop off point is different from your pick-up point)
  • Visit Moraine Lake and Vermilion Lakes from June 1 to October 13. For tours between October 14 and May 31, the alternative attraction is Emerald Lake and Natural Bridge
  • Vehicle size from 6-55 passengers
  • You may choose Banff Town Free explore OR visit Bow Falls at the last stop
  • The itinerary is subject to change due to weather conditions, attraction closures, or traffic issues.
  • In winter, crampons will be provided and use at your own responsibility

Only suggestion - Outlets in the bus for recharging batteries. The locations were wonderful, our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area and taught us lots. The suggestion for lunch was absolutely delicious, I believe our entire group ate at that deli. Lake Victoria was beautiful. I would suggest anybody taking this trip if they have not yet booked a hotel stay at the Delta Marriott Downtown Calgary because having your pick up and drop off right outside your hotel was extremely helpful and advantageous. Thank you Mike :-)
