Cala Vella

Climb aboard a catamaran and cruise from Palma de Mallorca to the beach resorts of Portals Vells or Cala Vella, depending on the wind conditions. Admire the cruise ships and yachts of the rich and famous as you depart the Port of Palma and sail along the spectacular south coast. Upon arrival at your destination, drop anchor and jump in for a swim in the turquoise waters just a few meters from an idyllic beach. Top up your tan in the Mediterranean sun and soak up the ambience of your surroundings. Use the complimentary masks and look for the local marine life on a snorkeling adventure before continuing to your second stop where you can swim again.  During the trip, make 2 stops, 1 in Cala Vella or Portals Vells and the other in another cove next to it. Climb back on board for a buffet meal of a selection of barbecue meats (chicken breast, skewers, and sausages), fresh salads and cake for dessert. Soft drinks and Mineral water are included during the whole trip and also wines from Mallorca and Sangria during the meal.  Choose from a morning departure at 10 AM or an afternoon departure at 3:30 PM and enjoy 5 hours of leisure. Sail back to Palma de Mallorca at the end of the day.

Depart from the Arenal Nautical Club and sail towards Cap Enderrocat and Cala Vella, which are protected environmental areas. Feel at ease with the relaxed atmosphere throughout the cruise. Stop for a swim and enjoy onboard food service. Leave from Can Pastilla and get on a boat to start in the direction of the Palma Marine Nature Reserve and set sail. Make one swimming stop (if the weather is good) along the route in idyllic and hidden places such as Cala Vella. Take the opportunity to sunbathe, take a refreshing dip, and snorkel in the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean. Set sail for Palmanova if you are leaving from Palma. Admire Palma, a coastal town located at the western end of the bay of Palma. Be welcomed by the crew at the pier in Palma and board the modern catamaran and set forth away from the marina on a southward sea journey. If conditions allow it, the sails will be used instead of the engine so you can experience sailing on the open sea. Anchor at Cala Vella and admire the incredible crystal clear water. Enjoy free time here to go swimming and snorkeling (equipment available for rent onboard), or just sun-bathe from the deck listening to relaxing music. During this time your crew will prepare a generous gourmet buffet using fresh ingredients. Tuck into a delightful variety of dishes made with quality ingredients. Choose from several delicious offerings with vegetarian options also available. On the way back, sail through the Bay of Palma and look out for the Cathedral of Palma and the Bellver Castle. Listen to your crew as they provide you with local tips about what to do during the rest of your time in Mallorca. If you have selected the afternoon time slot, admire views of the magnificent sunset on your return to the marina.
