Our workshop location is in the beautiful Budapest City Park. We have an indoor area for our workshops. Our local experts will explain how the dough is made, and how to work it. You'll be walked through the steps of making a traditional Hungarian Chimney Cake (Kürtőskalács), and you'll learn about all the tricks and tips you must know to make it again at home! We make 3 small pieces of Kürtőskalács, we'll also bake them. Once they are ready, our guests can pick between different tastes to roll them into. Usually the simple sugar, the coconut, and the cinnamon. After the Chimney Cake workshop, you can also pick a cup of coffee or tea, and enjoy some of your own kürtőskalács at the tables in the middle of the beautiful park, where you can also plan visits to the zoo, the Szechenyi thermal bath, and the Hunyadi Castle.

I will meet you at your hotel or appartment in an agreed time. This private experience will intoduce you to the the hidden treasures and place in the Pest and the Buda side. I will show you the main sights in Pest, such as the City Park, the Heroes Square, the Andrássy Avenue. You will have the chance to see and get to know the Franz Liszt Music Academy, the Broadway of Pest, the State Opera House. You will feel like you lived your life in the city as a local after seeing the House of Parlament, the St Stephens Cathedral, the Liberty square, the shoes along the river bank of the Danube. After the introduction of Pest I will take you to the Buda side to see the outstanding view and the Castle District, with the Matthias Church, the Fischerman’s Bastion, the Fortuna Street, the Holy Trinity Square, and the Castle Labyrinth. You will have the chance anytime to take a break or have a lunch. I will also drive you up during the day to the Gellért hill, to see the Liberty statue, the outstanding panorama and get to know the history of the hill. On the drive to the Buda side of the Danube, you will see all major attractions along the river Danube. Your first stop is in the Castle District for a short walk to see the area’s main attractions. You’ll visit the Old Town, the perfect spot for enjoying spectacular views of the surrounding area. Crossing Elizabeth Bridge to the Pest side we pass by the famous Central Market Hall and Europe’s largest synagogue, followed by a drive to the City Park. Along the way, pass the largest thermal spa in Europe and the Budapest Zoo, then stop at Heroes’ Square, where you’ll find statues of famed Hungarian kings. The tour continues from here down Andrássy Avenue to downtown Pest, passing the Opera House and St. Stephen’s Basilica. After the sightseeing tour, you'll have the opportunity to visit Madame Tussauds Budapest. There is no transfer included, but it is just a short walk from the end point of the city tour. At Madame Tussauds, guests can get up close and personal with the biggest Hollywood stars, famous singers, artists, historical figures and sportsmen. You can take a photo with them and learn about an iconic moment in their lives.
