David - our tour guide - was very thoughtful and attentive to our interests. He shared some background but saved the wine and history details for the experts at the local wineries we visited- which we liked. The first winery was generous with their pours but it felt more like a sales job. The second winery - Lornano - was fabulous. We got a real tour (beautiful cellar) and learned much more about the wine making process - wished we saw more like that, but overall great!

Despite the inclement weather we had a very enjoyable tour. The wine tasting was fun but we would like to have seen a little more of the countryside especially as the sun came out later! Our driver was really lovely and we couldn’t have asked for a nicer person to drive us around.
