blessed with really good weather the boat trip to the castle was a pleasure. the countryside and views on the way are beautiful and the boat is modern and clean with good facilities. I didn't actually bother with the walk up the the castle but had a nice meal at the restaurant as you disembark. journey back is quicker as you go with the flow of the river. nice way too spend a few hours relaxing and taking on the views. good value for money.

Only problem was the instructions for the boat! It docked at a different part. A lot of walking about to get to the correct one. The staff were good. Lovely boat, good bar. Nice seating and the toilets were lovely. Once we arrived at Devin, a nice walk around to the entrance of the castle. My 16 & 19 year old loved it. Views are spectacular! €8 adult €4 student, worth every penny! We sat fir a drink in a local wee bar at the outskirts of the castle, it was ok. Exceptional value for money!

Relax and let the world go by on a sightseeing cruise up the Danube River in Bratislava. Admire the views as you glide across the water on the way to Devin Castle where you have free tome before returning to the city.

Board the comfortable vessel and set sail. See views of Bratislava's historic port, waterfront, and castle as you make your way up the Danube. Feel the wind in your hair on the outside deck, or settle into your seat in the climate-controlled inside area.

Pass under the New Bridge and Lafranconi Bridge as you make your way to scenic 12th-century Devin Castle. Once there, enjoy 2 hours of free time to explore (entry at own expense). Stroll round this scenic spot at the confluence of the Danube and Morava Rivers.

Great opportunity to taste the iconic Devin region Blackcurrant wine !!! Have a break, enjoy the dishes from restaurants located nearby.

Meeting point

There is no guide waiting for the clients. The clients have to check the pontoon/pier number on the departure board above the main entrance to the Passenger Port, Fajnorovo nábrežie 2, 811 02 Bratislava and they go to the pontoon/pier by themselves. If not sure how to get there the staff at the ticket office inside the building will be glad to explain the way.

  • Entry ticket to Devin Castle is not included.
  • You will board at the pontoon/pier number P-52, platform 1 (opposite the Slovak National Gallery building). Please veri fy the number of the Pontoon at Passanger Port or call us +421 2 529 32 226
  • Please check the pontoon number on the departure board located outside the Passenger Port Building, Fajnorovo nabrezie 2, 811 02, before going to the ship.
  • If there are any changes, you will be notified by email or text message well before the departure.
  • Boarding starts 15 minutes before departure; recommended arrival time to the pontoon/pier is 20 minutes before the departure..

Really good. To take the cruise along the Danube was really a great decision. I would say this is the best way to get to Devin Castle.
