We had Mariana for our tour guide, and how great of a guide to have! She is very knowledgeable and passionate about Columbia, and every stop is very intentional and interesting. I really liked her approach, in that things weren’t just explained, but she actively tries to engage the group with questions before launching into the explanations. My highlight was a fruit stand we visited in a market place, where we tried several incredible fruits (too many to list for the characters I’m allowed here.) do not think because you’ve had these fruits elsewhere that they are the same here, the flavours will blow you away! She was keen to get to know every group member, and it was really enjoyable to also get to know her and her story. We also had a bike mechanic following playing music during the ride, and felt very safe and watched out for throughout. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bogotá, you won’t regret it!
