Summer whale watching in magic Bleik (Andøy, Vesterålen), a 10-minute drive from Andenes. Vesterålen is Norway's hidden spot for fantastic wildlife, both on sea and land. Join our summer whale and wildlife RIB-boat excursion to explore the surface of the deep-water canyon of Bleik and its surroundings. The canyon is home to abundant marine wildlife, including the magnificent sperm whales. You will also have a chance to encounter other marine mammals, such as pilot whales, orcas, minke, and occasionally Risso's dolphins and fin whales. All these animals frequent the area in search of food (different fish species), which also attracts extraordinary birds and other wildlife. In searching for whales, we will most likely encounter different birds (puffins, eagles, gannets, etc.) while we keep our eyes open for Harbor seals. Join our 3,5 hours RIB boat excursion with a maximum of 12 guests to explore the wonders of Bleik Canyon. During the tour, a guide will be onboard to give you information about all the wildlife we encounter and take photos (as memories) to take them home with you after the trip. Trip duration: 3.5 hours (including getting ready (wearing warm flotation suits) onshore and Complementary tea and coffee while changing after the trip). Departures: 10:00 and 21:00 from Bleik Marina (https://goo.gl/maps/j5SDCVsjxyJmzN4B6). Look for the Green Gold of Norway sign (The legendary Green Dragon), where your skipper and guide will meet you.

If, like us, you like a bit of adventure, even the journey itself is an absolute highlight. Feeling the big waves on a speedboat on the open Nordic sea was fun, but not for the faint-hearted :). We were lucky enough to see a large pod of pilot whales and had plenty of time to observe them. On the way back, we stopped at Puffin Rock and saw hundreds of these birds. Our guide told us lots of interesting facts about all the animals. I would definitely do it again!

The whale watching tour was the highlight of our trip to Andenes! We saw lots of pilot whales and the two guides told us lots about the animals. The boat didn't get too close to the animals, so they could get used to us and then swam up to the boat themselves. We were on the water during the midnight sun and spent about two hours with the whales. On the way back, we saw hundreds of puffins. The trip was definitely worth it!

Amazing day trip. We saw whales up close and it was wonderful to see them socializing with each other. We also saw puffins and, upon arrival, before saying goodbye, we had a midnight snack of muffins and hot drinks. The tour guide was very kind and explained everything that was happening, as well as facts about the behavior and life of these animals. Thank you again.

we were lucky with the weather and saw a lot of pilot whales. beautiful especially with the setting sun. enough was told about the way of life of the pilot whales. she was very clear. everything was well organized

We had a wonderful tour with our two skippers, who were fantastic. Even though we could only hear the whales and not see them, it was a great experience!
