Betina Cave Beach

Embark on a kayaking adventure on the Adriatic Sea and soak up the views of Lokrum Island and the Old Town. Take a swim and snorkel break in Betina Cave before returning to the starting point. Begin at the small port of Pile in the Old Town. After a short instructional session, paddle beneath the city walls until you reach the hidden cave beach known as Betina, where you will take a short 20-to-30-minute swimming and snorkelling break. After the break we will paddle towards the Lokrum island and return back to the starting point. Enjoy a morning, day or a sunset tour with us! IMPORTANT! At the moment there is some construction work in the park and it is closed so the only way to reach us is to come to the pier next to restaurant ORHAN and then take a left - small passage around the wall to the beach with the kayaks.

You’ll begin your journey at Pile Bay, where you'll get comfortable with your kayak and get ready for the adventure ahead. From there, you'll glide past the iconic City Walls, enjoying incredible views of the Old Town from the sea. Next, you’ll paddle to the Island of Lokrum, a lush nature reserve where you’ll have the chance to take photos at famous Game of Thrones filming locations. You'll start your adventure at Pile Bay, where you'll get introduced to paddling. From there, you’ll paddle along the iconic City Walls, with sweeping views of the Old Town and beyond. Next, you’ll stop at the Lazareti Quarantine, a historical site once used to quarantine arriving ships. Afterward, you’ll paddle past Banje Beach, with its incredible views of the city and coastline. You’ll also pass Villa Sheherezade, a charming villa offering picturesque views. Your final stop will be Betina Cave, where you’ll have 30 minutes to swim and snorkel in the calm, clear waters. Afterward, you’ll enjoy an easy return, paddling back along the coast with plenty of time for photos and to take in the breathtaking scenery.
