We had a wonderful experience on this chocolate tour in Bern. Felix was an excellent and attentive guide, answering all our questions and sharing interesting insights along the way. The variety of chocolates we got to try was impressive, ranging from well-known brands to award-winning boutique creations. Highly recommended for anyone who loves chocolate and wants to explore Bern in a delicious way!
This is such a unique way to see the city of Bern and learn something along the way. I didn't know much about chocolate except how much I like it, so I enjoyed the history behind chocolate making and how it has evolved in Bern. I enjoyed tasting the different chocolates, it definitely gives me a better appreciation. My favourite part was the box from one of the more fancy chocolate makers in town (I won't post the name to avoid spoilers!) after which I went back to the shop and had a hard time deciding what to purchase because they were all so delicious! Felix as a guide was very personable, knowledgable and clearly passionate about the topic. As it was a chilly partially rainy winter day he even brought carafes of warm tea and delicious gluh gin to keep us warm, a thoughtful nice touch :)
