The tour begins with pickup from the cruise terminal before a drive through the historical section of the St. Kitts capital Basseterre. Enrich your cultural experience with historical knowledge as your local guide provides an introduction to the city, founded in 1627 by French settlers. See the Independence Square where slaves were sold and Basseterre's churches. On leaving the city, stop at Romney Manor, formerly owned by Captain Samuel Jefferson, great-great-grandfather of Thomas Jefferson. Romney Manor is 25 acres of lush, tropical gardens, now home to the Caribelle Batik workshop and boutique. Next, enjoy the stunning views of mountains, valleys, and neighboring islands at the Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, 800 feet above sea level. The tour then turns eastward toward the third destination: Timothy Hill, the gateway to the Southeast Peninsula. Take in a panoramic view of St. Kitts' sister isle Nevis and the majestic backdrop of the Frigate Bay valley before relaxing at the nearby Carambola Beach.

We will give you a tour of the Capital City of Basseterre; you would also visit Timothy Hill which give you a panoramic view of the South East Peninsula stretching towards our sister island Nevis. The Peninsula is a narrow strip of land that divides two bodies of water, the Atlantic on the left side and the Caribbean on the right side, and you have to see it to believe it. From the hill, you can also see the Frigate Bay Valley with beautiful homes jutting out of the hill, a golf course stretching from the Atlantic Ocean to the Caribbean Sea, and the coconut palms waving in the sun. The tour continues onward to the beach where you can splash in the warm and crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean or just have a relaxing day. We visit beaches such as Friars Bay (Carambola Beach Club), Shipwreck, or Cockleshell, depending on the situation at Friar's Bay which is our first choice.

We had a great day on this very intense but very fun challenging hike. Our guide Jay was informative and made sure we knew all the important safety information (where to step, potential slip areas, etc) overall an amazing experience.
