Absolutely brilliant day. Would highly recommend this trip. Our guides were very nice, helpful, funny and easy to understand. Verona is a beautiful city with plenty of shops and restaurants. Was great to skip the queues too. Favourite part was the boat trip on Lake Garda. Wished it had been longer. Was expensive there with 2 tubs of ice-cream being €20. Overall 10/10 and happily do it again.

Full description

Depart Bergamo and journey to the medieval city of Verona, where you can travel back to the days of Shakespeare and call for Romeo from the balcony of Juliet's House. Admire the Roman arena, where operas and summer concerts are still performed on a regular basis. Get some time to stroll the narrow streets and discover Renaissance palaces at leisure.

Then, make your way to Lake Garda and visit Sirmione. Wander the narrow streets of the former Roman summer retreat to see highlights such as the ruins of the city walls and Roman villa. Marvel at the 13th-century castle and see a rare example of a medieval port fortification used by the Scaliger fleet.

Fantastic day straight from the start great guide Monica very pleasant and friendly and very informative. Great guide in Verona he was very knowledgeable too Verona and sirmione are definitely worth a visit .boat ride on lake Garda fantastic too. definitely will be back to visit both places again
