Full description

Arrive at the meeting point and show your reservation to the staff wearing a green vest with a BusDa logo. The staff will lead you onto the bus before it departs for Mutianyu Great Wall (driving time is around 1.5 hours).

During the journey, the guide will introduce Mutianyu Great Wall to you and help you complete reservations for various tickets (The cable car or toboggan is an optional item, cost 140rmb per person ,which can be purchased based on your request).

Upon arrival , you can choose the east-line tour, west-line tour, or both double-line tours.

Enjoy about 4 hours of sightseeing time. Later, the guide will take you onto the bus to the Summer Palace.

In the afternoon, explore a well-preserved royal garden and the Summer Palace. Follow tour guide to stroll around the garden, and learn the stories and histories behind the buildings. Get to know the famous "Dragon Lady" and her life (Tour-boat is an optional item, cost 100rmb per person ,which can be purchased based on your request)

After a 3 hour guided tour, take the bus to the Olympic Park.

Visiting the great wall of China was on my bucket list and I was not disappointed. Yoyo was a great guide, and she advised us on the best itinerary to maximize our experience. She also added a lot of humour to the explanations which I really enjoyed. I would have preferred to have our guide accompany us on the wall and explain to us on the spot rather than on the bus, but I believe this is what you get unless you go for a private tour. I would still recommend this tour and Yoyo as the whole experience was worth it!
