The trail begins here, winding through forests and village paths. Trail to Japanese Danda (Kristi) Distance: Roughly 6-8 km one-way. Duration: Around 2 to 2.5 hours to reach Japanese Danda from Matgauda, depending on your pace. Difficulty: Moderate, with gradual uphill climbs and some steep sections. The trail passes through lush forests and farmland, offering good opportunities for bird watching and nature appreciation. Views along the way: As you hike, you will have glimpses of the Annapurna and Machapuchare (Fishtail) mountains. The local villages and terraced fields make the walk even more picturesque.
