Basilica of San Lorenzo

There were many mishaps on the way but somehow this was still an absolutely fantastic trip! All thanks to our wonderful tour guide Felice who is such a pleasure! Initially the trip was supposed to be by train, with a few other people but due to cancellations we ended up getting a private tour (when this happened with a different agency the tour was simply cancelled) and Felice drove us in his car! Despite the journey being long, we had some brilliant conversations and in the end it didn’t feel like hours at all. Florence was beautiful and Felice gave us just the right amount of information, it was fascinating! He even gave us tips on haggling at the market and directed us to a place to eat (we chose the food hall but there was also a restaurant that he suggested). Then we went to Sienna, which is not on the itenerary but we requested to swap it for the free time in Florence, Felices flexibility really made the trip! All in all, we definitely recommend this trip, and Felice!!!
