We will continue to Feria Street where we will pass by the Church of San Juan de la Palma, emblematic place of the city, birthplace of one of the oldest street markets in the world. The street will take us to the Múdejar Palace of the Marquises of Algaba, located next to the Church of Omnium Sanctorum, representations of the city's medieval past. We will cross the heart of the Macarena neighborhood to reach its Basilica, an opportunity to see the Virgin of the Macarena, the most famous of the city, the ancient wall and one of the medieval gates that have withstood the passing of the centuries. The route will continue through the old Cardo Máximo of the city that articulates our walk , San Luis Street, where we will pass through the Plaza del Pumarejo to reach the Mudéjar Church of Santa Marina and discover the curiosities that surround the Church and its surroundings. Then we will continue south towards the neighboring church of San Luis de los Franceses , the jewel of Sevillian baroque that is also located on this famous street. Caroline our guide was very informative, pleasant, professional and accommodating by being fluent in English and Spanish! It was a cold morning and one of us didn’t have a heavy jacket so maybe offering blankets to guests before starting tour would be nice.
