Full description

Join a small group guided trip to the Ijen Crater from Banyuwangi and witness the stunning views of the biggest crater lake in Java. Start your tour with pickup from Banyuwangi and take in the beautiful sunrise over Ijen Crater.

Begin with pickup from your accommodation in Banyuwangi in the middle of the night and travel to Ijen Volcano. Start your hike and enjoy the sceneries during your 1.5-hour hike to the summit and admire the views from the top.

On a clear lucky day, you will have chance to see the volcano's mystical blue flames (but not guarantee), which is will makes a truly unique experience. Catch the sunrise over the largest acid lake and appreciate the local miners carrying sulfur rock as part of their daily life to provide for their families.

After exploring the volcano, trek down and back to the parking lot. You will returned back to your hotel in Banyuwangi roughly at 8:30 AM.
