We liked the welcome from Dedhy Andy. He was able to reorganize the 4 days following the closure of the Ijen site and offered us other activities instead (in particular Selogriyo) The Borobudur site remains the most impressive especially at the summit It is also worth getting up at 2am to see Bromo at sunrise.

The places visited are beautiful, the sunrise on Mount Bromo and the visit to the Tumpak Sewu waterfalls were two excursions that I will never forget. Despite this, there were some difficulties: 1. the activity requires long car journeys and this was not specified in the program or at least not underlined. For two days we were in the car for more than 6 hours (the distances are not enormous but the road system is problematic). 2. I was informed at the last moment by the agency that one of the planned activities could not take place due to natural causes. I would have liked to know before the cancellation deadline (and it was possible to do so). In any case, I was reimbursed for the activity not carried out. 3. the hotel in Yogyakarta was decidedly mediocre. Overall I think that the amount paid is high for what was offered to us. Local prices are significantly lower.
