From Bali: 24-Hour Trip to Ijen Crater & Javanese Breakfast

I can honestly recommend this tour to anyone. Everyone involved was incredibly nice and accommodating. The communication with Indotravel was super fast. The driver was on time. We arrived at our accommodation around 9 p.m. A delicious dinner was waiting for us there (they even cooked more when a few were still hungry). There we were greeted by the friendly Petra, who gave us an introduction to the tour and answered any questions we had. After about two hours of sleep the tour to the Ijen volcano began and we met our three guides, all of whom were very nice and attentive. Special mention goes to guide Hari, who often asked if everyone was okay, kept an eye on the whole group, and was immediately there to help with any problems. Hari is also a fantastic photographer. After the tour, we had a delicious breakfast and were able to shower in our rooms. My only suggestion for improvement is that I would have preferred to start earlier on the first day to have more time for sleep at night.

Adventure of a lifetime! So happy I did this tour, I knew it wasn’t going to be an easy one since they say that everywhere but it’s totally do able if you’re fit. The tour group and organization was amazing, nice people at the locals home and great guides at the volcano. They always looked after you so you didn’t get lost even when walking by yourself for some time since there’s so many other people/groups, they shared interesting information and took nice pictures too! Highly recommend :)
