Our experience was very positive. Giorgio and Leonidas's driving was completely professional. Eva, our guide, was very kind to us and explained every detail of the monasteries and surrounding towns. She provided an interesting narrative. Having a break halfway through was helpful for food and drinks. Once we reached the monasteries, the time flew by. We loved the tour and would return to Meteora to visit the rest of the monasteries. It would be nice to have a little more time to visit each site more leisurely, and also, if possible, to have an additional tour that would allow us to visit all the monasteries in one day, but that's a matter of personal preference. Thank you team for your willingness, punctuality, and kindness. We highly recommend the tour!

Reach the Meteora rocks, where an unforgettable experience awaits you. Comprising of sandstone and conglomerate, the caves at Meteora are thought to have been inhabited as early as 50,000 years ago.

Listen about the history and the importance of the area by our local guide and enter 2 active monasteries to have a glipse of the monks life . (entrance not included 5 euros)

In the 9th century, monks began inhabiting them again and in the 14th century, the first monasteries were built. Nowadays, Meteora is home to one of the most important complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries. See all six of these monasteries built on large naturally-formed pillars as you explore and take pictures of a lifetime.
