Day 1Athens - Kalabaka - Meteora
Explore Meteora at sunset
8:00 Travel from Athens to Kalabaka by air-conditioned bus
Be welcomed by your English-speaking driver from Larissa Station in Athens. Sit back and relax as you journey through the scenic Greek countryside, arriving at Kalabaka around 12:30pm. Upon arrival, check into your reserved hotel. Enjoy a short break to refresh after the drive.
Explore Meteora at sunset
After lunch (not included), enjoy a 4-hour Majestic Sunset Meteora tour, the most popular tour in the area. Marvel at the surreal landscape, visit 1 monastery and the Byzantine Church of the Virgin Mary, and witness the sun dipping behind towering rock formations from the most panoramic viewpoint - a moment you'll never forget. Meeting point
• Look for the 'Meteora Thrones - Travel Center' logo on the front door to identify the tour bus • Departure: The bus departs at 08:00 am from Larissis Station in Athens. We will be waiting for you outside the train station on the road across the street (Theodore Diligianni Street). Please be there 15 minutes before the bus departure • You can reach the meeting point by taking the Red Line metro/subway or by Taxi about 5 euros from the center • Boarding procedure: No bus ticket is required. Just give your name to the driver for verification • Seats are not assigned, so you are free to choose your seat
