To find the bus at each of the three meeting points, look for signs of the blue hop-on hop-off bus stop. At Omonoia Square, meet at bus stop A12 in front of the Hondos Center department store. In Syntagma Square, meet at the bus stop by the National History Museum (Old Parliament). In the Plaka area, meet at the bus stop in front of the Melina Merkouri statue.

Full description

Drive along the southern coast to the Athenian Riviera on a trip from Athens to Cape Sounio and the Temple of Poseidon. Enjoy the temple views and watch the amazing sea view Cape Sounion. Learn about the sights with an audio guide available in six languages.

Board an air-conditioned bus and head to Sounion, where you'll be captivated by the famous landscape surrounding the promontory. In ancient Greek times, this site was considered sacred ground dedicated to the gods Poseidon and Athena.

Next, marvel at the Temple of Poseidon, perched 70 meters above the sea on the cliff’s edge (entry tickets not included). Walk on the revered land of Sounion, mentioned in Homer’s Odyssey, and stand on the same cliff where it is said King Aegeus threw himself off.
On summer days bring your swimmsuit and explore the hidden beach behind the Temple.(not for passengers with impaired mobility)

Unfortunately, the day trip was canceled less than 24 hours before departure. I was offered to choose another day or agree to an evening tour. I didn't have another day in Athens. As soon as I chose the second option, the price of the evening tour was charged to my card, and I didn't get a refund for the day tour. I didn't get what I wanted. I was forced to agree to something I didn't want at double the price.
