This new creation, dedicated to The Little Prince, Antoine de Saint Exupéry's universal masterpiece, is presented in collaboration with the Succession Antoine de Saint Exupéry. In 1943, Antoine de Saint Exupéry published "The Little Prince" in New York. The following year, he mysteriously disappeared over the Mediterranean Sea aboard his P-38 Lightning, bequeathing to us this masterful work that was soon to become a worldwide success and a timeless classic of literature. The immersive exhibition invites visitors to discover or rediscover "The Little Prince" from a whole new angle. Saint Exupéry's watercolors and words in French come to life on the floors and walls, transporting them to a world where imagination knows no bounds. Roses, foxes and snakes speak in French, and visitors travel from desert to prairie, from planet to planet without the slightest difficulty, as neither time nor space seem to have any hold. A French voice-over accompanies the visitor throughout the immersive experience. This creation is an invitation to discover the magic and simplicity of the world, to remember the importance of imagination, curiosity and compassion. As Saint Exupéry said: "You can only see well with your heart; what is essential is invisible to the eye". Bringing the whole family? Don't miss "L'Atelier des Enfants", a brand-new area dedicated to young visitors (aged 4 to 12), who in turn become creators of immersive exhibitions. A fun, interactive space that introduces children to digital art in the world of artist Le Douanier Rousseau. It's a fun way for the whole family to discover art! Through its monumental immersive exhibitions, the Atelier des Lumières pays tribute to the greatest names in the history of art, and presents 2 immersive digital exhibitions with continuous broadcasts. Discover two new immersive exhibitions: "Picasso, art in motion" and "Le Douanier Rousseau, au pays des rêves". From his native Spain to France, where Pablo Picasso spent most of his life, the exhibition offers a stroll through the bullring, a plunge into the nightlife of Parisian cabarets, a confrontation with the shapes and colors of "Les Demoiselles d'Avignon" and the striking force of "Guernica". Immersed in the masterpieces, the exhibition offers a singular approach to the work of Pablo Picasso, opening up the possibility of discovering in a different way the immense material transmitted by the artist and made possible by digital technology. The second exhibition takes visitors on a tour of the first steps of naive art in France. Dreamlike and sometimes childlike, this new approach to painting is embodied in the works of Henri Rousseau. At the end of the 19th century, this self-taught painter and pioneer of naive art drew his inspiration from detailed observations of vegetation and animals from elsewhere, from the greenhouses and menagerie of the Jardin des Plantes in Paris. Bringing the whole family? Don't miss "L'Atelier des Enfants", a unique space dedicated to young visitors (4 to 12 years old) who, in turn, become creators of immersive exhibitions.
