A very nice trip! Especially since Abu Simbel is quite far, it makes sense to spend the night there and have a bit more time to experience the place. The felucca ride on Lake Nasser is also great, it gives wonderful views on Abu Simbel. We also did the Sound & Light show there, highly recommended. The hotel is super cute, simple, but lovely decorated with lots of colours and paintings and nice patio gardens to relax. A special thanks to our wonderful guide Ahmed, who is born and raised in Abu Simbel and knows everything and everyone there. He even took us to his family’s house for dinner.

Day 1/



Our representative will pick you up from your accommodation in Aswan to start a comfortable private 4-hour car trip to Abu Simbel. Relax and enjoy the mountains views on the way to Abu Simbel.


When you arrive in Abu Simbel your private guide will be waiting for you to start the mesmerizing and and informative tour of the Great Temples of Abu Simbel,
The facade of the Great Temple of Ramses is about 38 meters long and 31 meters high. The temple is dedicated to the most important gods of the New Kingdom, Ptah (the creator god of Memphis), Amun-Re (the great god of Thebes) and Re-Harakhte (sun god of Heliopolis), as well as to the Pharaoh Ramses II himself.


Enjoying taking fun photos with friends and family, before you head to a local restaurant in Abu Simbel to enjoy an Egyptian lunch break before you head to the hotel booked for you in Abu Simbel. 


Check in and rest for a while and our representative will pick you again at 5 pm to enjoy a traditional felucca ride on The Nile River.  then enjoy your dinner in a local restaurant before our driver drops you off back at the hotel to spend the night. 




Day 2/


After enjoying your breakfast at the hotel, our representative will pick you up from the reception at around 9 am to start the car ride back to Aswan (kindly check out and leave with your luggage). 


Abon arriving in Aswan at around 1 pm, our driver will drop you off at your accommodation in Aswan safe and sound.

All the people involved (guide, drivers, hotel) were all very kind and helpfull. The activities on itself were amazing such as the stunning light show and temple. However, the organisation and communication were awfull. The pick-up from our hotel was 1h15min late and communication with the agent was poor. During the day, no one seemed to know what we booked and what we expected/was included. After a lunch and temple visit, we were dropped off at the hotel, which was quit clean and good! Besides that, the travel agent did not provide any information about the itinirary of the remaining day and morning after. After some messages, we finally received the needed information. This information however would be wrong. A driver would pick us up at 5pm but no one came. Travel agent was not cooperative. The planned felucca tour was just an ordinary motor boat, which was property of the hotel. All activitities were last minute organized. Hapily, Ahmed was helpfull in the end and made our day.
