Archaeological Site of Herculaneum

We did the tour from Rome to Herculaneum and Pompeii by High Speed Train. It was incredible! Communication was excellent from beginning to end. We ended up changing the date of the tour at the last minute due to weather and experienced zero hiccups from the change. The train ride was quick and the Askos tour guide was very easy to find. Everything was very well-paced with time built in for bathroom breaks and lunch. The awesomeness of seeing these site exceeded my expectations and was absolutely worth the day trip. The best part was our guide, Michele. He is an extremely knowledgeable archeologist who turns out to also be a wonderful tour guide. He virtually did not stop sharing information with us for the entirety of the tour. I do not know how he did not lose his voice. The flow of the tour, the richness of information, the foreshadowing to what we would see...absolutely amazing. I cannot think of anything to improve this tour; highly, highly recommend!
