Day 1: Train Cemetery - Colchani - Salt Hotel - Incahuasi Island The tour will start with a visit to the train cemetery to see the old locomotives. Then we will go to the community of Colchani (gateway to the Salar) where we will find rustic handicraft workshops and the rustic micro-processing of table salt. Continuing with the expedition to the majestic Salar de Uyuni we will make stops to see the salt extractions, the eyes of the salar and the Playa Blanca salt hotel that currently only functions as a museum. Later we will visit the most popular island of the Salar located in the middle of the Salar, the Incahuasi Island where we will walk and we will be able to appreciate large extensions of cactus, marine rock fossils and spectacular 360º views from the viewpoint. Day 2: Ollague Volcano Viewpoint - High Altitude Lagoons - Siloli Desert - Stone Tree - Red Lagoon The day begins with breakfast at the salt lodge. We leave to the Ollague volcano viewpoint, to appreciate a volcanic desert landscape and the scarce high Andean vegetation. Then we will visit the Chiarkota lagoon, Laguna Hedionda (name due to the smell of sulfur), Onda lagoon, Ramaditas lagoon, these lagoons are surrounded by flamingos that use them as feeding and resting points during their migratory movements and by noon we will have lunch on the road. We continue our way to the Siloli desert where we find the stone tree (strange rocky shape). We continue our way to the Laguna Colorada which is very striking for its reddish color. Day 3: Fumarolas - Polques Hot Springs - Laguna Verde - Valley of the Rocks - San Cristobal - Uyuni The day starts very early in the morning with breakfast and departure to the fumaroles and cracks in the ground where volcanic lava, sulfurous gases. Following the route we will reach the hot springs (waters that are beneficial for healing arthritis) where you can take a bath and rest placidly, the water has a temperature of 25 to 32ºC. We continue the journey through the second desert on our tour of Salvador Dali which has an excellent panoramic view and resemble this desert landscape. Afterwards, we arrive at the green lagoon (the high mineral content gives it its characteristic color), located at the foot of the Licancabur volcano (5,916 masl). Then we head to the town of Uyuni making stops to visit Villa Mar, Valle de las Rocas, the town of San Cristobal, its stone church and finally we continue to finish our tour in the town of Uyuni.

Day 1: We will pick you up from your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama, Chile and we will take you to the Bolivian border, Hito Cajones. Right after crossing the border and once we arrive in Bolivia you can enjoy a marvelous scenery dominated by the Licancabur volcano with at its foot one of the jewels of the Eduardo Avaroa Reserve: the Green anda white Lagoon which will be the starting point of our trip with a 4X4. This place is like no other in the world. Once we leave the Green Lagoon behind we will enter a large landscape: the Valley of the Ladies desert. We will continue to the hot springs of Polques where we will have a bath before continuing to the Geysers of Sol de Mañana where we can observe the volcanic activity. Afterwards we will arrive at the Red Lagoon which is another precious jewel of the Eduardo Avaroa Reserve. This lagoon is the most important place in the area known for its three different species of flamingos. The red color of the lagoon is produced by active algae which react with the sun radiation and wind. The pink color of the feet and feathers of the flamingos is also produced by the same algae, which is their basic food. These fabulous deserts own a great variety of colors such as red, orange, ocre, brass, browns and beige. We will visit the Stone Tree and on the way we will meet the wild vicuña with its fine and high figure. We will continue our way towards Paso del Inca and Ojo de Perdiz where we will spend the night at the Tayka Desert Hotel. Day 2: Today we will drive along the lagoons Ramadita, Honda, Chiarkota, Hedionda and Cañapa where we will come across a large number of flamingos consisting of three different species. (Andino, James and Chilean). The flamingos can be seen sharing the volcanoes eternal snow and green sides together with many other bird species such as the Andean seagulls and wild ducks. The colors of the sand and the rocks are a product of the the millennial winds together with the presence of borax and sulfur. We will have lunch on the shore along side one of the lagoons. After lunch, we will visit Isla Pescado (Fish Island), where we will ascend to the top for a close encounter with the white desert. You continue our trip to Chantani where we will visit the pitchers museum and get to enjoy the impressive landscape. After visiting the museum we will continue to Incahuasi Island which is located at the center of the Salar de Uyuni. This place is one of the biggest tourist attractions of the region. From the top of the island we will be able to enjoy a 360 degree view of the Salt flats. We will visit the Salt mounds near the village of Colchani. Half an hour later we will arrive at Uyuni.

You will enjoy a 360° view from Incahuasi Island located in the middle of the salt flat, later you will see a view of the Tunupa volcano and arrive in Tahua to visit the Chantani museum. Pass through Puerto Chuvica and continue exploring the salt flat until you reach San Juan del Rosario to observe the history and life of the Lords of Lípez. Today it is possible to find evidence of their culture, daily life and customs, gathered in a small museum where valuable pieces stand out. Enjoy the view of the Ollague volcano. In the afternoon we will continue the trip to the lagoons of Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarkota, Honda and Ramaditas, where we will be able to observe the three different species of flamingos. Live the trip near the lagoons, surrounded by volcanoes with their eternal snow caps mixed with landscapes full of green and other magical colors. After passing through the Inca Pass and the last lagoon, we will enter a huge desert area without roads. These fantastic deserts bring together many different colors, from brown, red, orange, brass and beige, which are shown successively at each curve of the route. We will spend the night at the Tayka del Desierto Hotel. At night you will enjoy a stargazing tour in the middle of the desert. Day 2: You will visit Stone Tree which is a tree shaped geological structure, and the Red lagoon. Afterwards we will arrive at the Geysers of Sol de Mañana. The desert and Salar of Chalviri offers us a landscape combining the white of the snow and the red brown of the desert together with the blue of the water. You will have the opportunity to take a swim in the Hot Springs of Polques. Afterwards you will visit Valley of the ladies which is a geologic wonderland created by the winds. Visit the Green Lagoon located at the foot of the Licancabur Volcano. We will arrive there by lunch time, which is the best time to see how its waters change colours from emerald green to a deeper green. From this point we will then continue towards the Chilean border and travel back to San Pedro de Atacama. Drop off in your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama around 15:00 PM.

DAY 1:LA PAZ-UYUNI Day 1 Start in the city of La Paz Head to the bus terminal at 8:30 pm to check in, then the bus will depart at 9:00 pm. Arriving in Uyuni at approximately 8am, where you will have breakfast (not included). DAY 2: SUNSET IN UYUNI Departure of the tour 10: 30 a.m. We will visit the following places, the train cemetery. Colchani, handicraft stores made of salt, stone, marble and fiber. Dakar Monument Island or flag square Lodging will be in Uyuni. DAY 3: SALT LAKE OF CHIGUANA-LAGUNA COLORADA The tour starts at 8:00 am. The places to visit are: Ollague volcano viewpoint, at 5,600 meters above sea level, is a still active volcano. still active volcano. At approximately 9:30 a.m. we will transfer you to the Chilean border to be dropped off in San Pedro de Atacama, Chile.
