Please remember that the Maya Bay will be closed every year for 2 months during low season, usually in August and September. Learn about these incredible creatures and join them in the water.  Be picked up from your accommodation and drive to Ao Nang Elephant Sanctuary. There, you will be met by your English-speaking guide and learn about the history of elephants in Thailand, their behavior, what they eat, and their individual stories. Receive bananas to feed to feed free-roaming elephants and learn about their individual stories. Touch, feed, photograph, and interact with the elephants at your leisure while your guide tells you about their lifestyle, and behaviors.  Listen as your guide tells you about how these elephants are rescued from lives of logging or carrying people. After you have met all the elephants, join them in applying mud on the skin as a healthy sunscreen and mud treatment.  Walk with the elephants, bathe them, and join them in the water for a refreshing cool-off.
