Arrive at the geysers early to have the opportunity to observe the contrast between the sunrise and the steam from the heat of the magma-affected waters. After sunrise, savor a complete breakfast with bread, cheese, ham, scrambled eggs, coffee, chocolate, milk, and jam. Once you've eaten, spend some more time exploring the 80 geysers around the national park. From there, ride through the Putana Valley. See endemic flora and fauna and stop at a lagoon to see flamingos before returning to your hotel.

Hidden Lagoons of Baltinache Tour: Visit the hidden lagoons of Baltinache or Seven Lagoons, one of the secret places of the Atacama Desert. This is a wonderful landscape where you can admire and take fotos. (Update: Starting March 3, 2025, one of the seven lagoons will reopen for bathing with a café and shower service. As a result, from that date onwards, the entrance fee to the park will be $12,000 CLP, which must be paid in cash, in Chilean pesos only, to the guide on the day of the tour.) Discover the third biggest geyser field in the world: El tatio Geysers. You will be picked up at your hotel very early in the morning (5:00am to 5:40am) to arrive on time for the sunrise at the geyser field. You will visit the field with more than 80 active geysers and later enjoy a wonderful outdoor breakfast in the middle of the Altiplano. You will also visit the wetlands of Putana and Machuca and the village of Machuca, famous for its cheese empanadas and llama meat skewers! Machuca village is a very small native village, so you will be able to share with the community and discover the beauty of the Altiplano, surrounded by volcanoes and wild animals. *Drop off at the center (plaza Apacheta)

Day 1: Transfer from Calama Airport to your San Pedro de Atacama Hotel Pm. Moon Valley After beginning your tour, you will travel to the famous Valley of the Moon, located approximately 10 kilometers away from San Pedro de Atacama and declared a sanctuary of nature. Here you will discover a place with beautiful shapes and colors where you can walk and observe a geological show with sculptural forms, similar to the lunar surface. You can visit the salt statues "Las Tres Marías", as well as the salt caverns. You will then go up to the great dune at sunset to admire this beautiful panorama in all its splendor. Day 2: RED STONES, HIGH PLANE LAGOONS AND SALT FLAT OF ATACAMA We will visit the Laguna Chaxa, with its flamingos in the Salar de Atacama. We can also enjoy the wonderful Altiplanic, Miscanti and little fingers We will be able to get closer to the local culture in the highland town of Socaire. We will observe the Salar de Atacama from above, and we will enjoy beautiful landscapes and broken. In turn, we will hallucinate with the impressive Red Stones. Day 3 AM: Tour Geiser del Tatio (altitude of 4,300 meters) Tour Geiser del Tatio (altitude of 4,300 meters) After driving through the night, you will arrive at this spectacular sector of the Altiplano at approximately 6:45AM, normally the temperature at this time is below zero. You will begin your day by enjoying breakfast before a guided hike by the geothermal field. There you will be able to observe the impressive columns of steam (geisers), fumaroles, hundreds of pools of boiling water, and high peaks. In this sector you can see parts of the typical Andean fauna such as Vizcachas and Vicuñas. You will then begin the return to San Pedro, through the impressive landscape of the Andes mountain range. During this route you will also be able to see the Tocorpuri and Licancacabur volcanos. You will eventually arrive in San Pedro at approximately 12:00PM, where you will have free time at 14:00 pm we start the jorney to the Salar de Atacama, where your first stop will be Laguna Cejar, a turquoise lagoon in which you can bathe. Due to this lake's great salinity, you will even be able to float on the water. Later, you will visit the eyes of the Salar, before your tour ends at the Tebinquiche Lagoon, where you will enjoy a beautiful sunset with an aperitif. You will eventually return to San Pedro de Atacama. Day 4: Transfer Hotel San Pedro de Atacama to Calama Airport On the final day of your tour you will be transferred to Calama Airport, or another centrally located part of Calama. The itinerary of the excursions can be modified, to be able to carry out all the excursions based on your stay in San Pedro

Located in the Andes Mountains, 61 miles from San Pedro de Atacama and 4,320 meters above sea level, El Tatio (from Kunza "tata-iu") means "The Grandfather Who Cries." It is the largest group of geysers in the southern hemisphere and the third-largest in the world, after Yellowstone and Dolina Giezerow. At dawn, between 06:00 and 07:00, you can see an amazing spectacle, generated by violent steam flows that rise to 10 meters high with temperatures that reach 85°C. On the return trip, after having breakfast looking at the sunrise, it is possible to observe fauna such as vicuñas, llamas, rheas, vizcachas, etc. While in the Flora, the Giant Cactus, llaretas, coirón, etc. stand out. In addition, from a viewpoint, we will observe the small ancestral town of Machuca, its few inhabitants are mainly dedicated to grazing and cheese production, very close to the place is the Laguna Salada where families of flamingos, ducks and seagulls live with an impressive landscape of beauty. After the excursion, return to San Pedro de Atacama at noon.. where you will have free time until the start of the Moon Valley Tour. Moon Valley Tour: Start this adventure at our office in San Pedro de Atacama downtown (Summertime 4 pm / Wintertime 3 pm). Our bus for max. 12 people will lead you to the outstanding Atacama desert. You will witness one of the most incredible geomorphological wonders. Located inside the Flamencos National Reserve, you will visit the worldwide-known Valle de la Luna. This natural Sanctuary has incomparable beauty and resembles a fragment of the lunar landscape, to which it owes its name. During your visit, you will admire the famous natural formation called Las Tres Marías, the Major Dune; a majestic sand body, and viewpoints such as Quebrada Honda where the famous Coyote Stone is located. Before going back to our meeting point in San Pedro de Atacama you will have the chance of being part of an amazing sunset. Get ready to see how all the colors change in the desert!

Arrive at the geysers at dawn and watch a geothermal show next to the Andes Mountains. On the way back, stop at Machuca, a small town decorated with adobe houses. Try a traditional breakfast of llama meat anticucho and/or goat cheese empanadas. After breakfast, return to San Pedro de Atacama where your tour ends with a drop-off at your hotel.

The El Tatio Geyser Field stands just over 14,000 feet above sea level in the Andes Mountains of northern Chile and getting there is half the fun. You’ll travel up windy scenic mountain roads surrounded by snow-covered active and dormant volcanic peaks along the way. Magma beneath the surface acts to heat an underground source of water resulting in an explosive release of pressure. As you walk through the fields, steam rising all around, the ethereal environment will have you feeling like you’re on another planet. The local animal life of the geyser field is awe-inspiring as well, demonstrating that beauty can thrive even in such harsh conditions. Geyser field runoff empties into emerald green, geothermal ponds and small streams that trickle down toward lower altitudes. A trip to the third largest geyser field in the world is an experience you won’t soon forget. On this vibrant excursion we will visit the impressive fumaroles of the Tatio geothermal field, in the heart of the Altiplano. Our trip to the Altiplano begins early in the morning, to see the sunrise in one of the most important geothermal fields in the world: the Tatio Geysers, where we will walk around the more than 80 active geysers present. Later we will have breakfast in the area to start our return trip. We will pass through the Machuca wetlands, a slow-flowing body of water, which is a niche for flora and fauna, we will see various birds, including flamingos, and the occasional vicuña. This bofedal owes its name to the town of Machuca, a local town that we will see on the way, with barely twenty houses made of adobe, straw and cactus wood. We will also visit the Putana wetland, a nesting place for various migratory birds and an observation point for the incredible view of the altiplano, the mountain ranges and volcanoes in the background. Then, you'll be returning to the town of San Pedro de Atacama at approximately 12:00 PM.
