Experience spectacular history and enjoy the majestic scenery of high peaks and jagged rock faces on Norway's most memorable railway journey. Encounter Trollveggen, the engineering masterpiece Kylling bridge, and the impressive Verma waterfalls as you travel the route. Start your rail adventure at Åndalsnes station, and be welcomed on on board by the train's hosts. Settle into your seat for the first part of the journey to Bjorli. Peer out of the window to marvel at highlights such as the Troll Wall, the Verma Waterfall. Get your camera ready for the Kylling Bridge, the most photographed railway bridge in Norway. The journey starts at Åndalsnes station, where you will be welcomed on board by our train hosts. The first part of the journey by train takes about 1 hour. In addition to the visual feast of Norway’s stunning nature during the train ride, you will be served with unique stories about the ones who have struggled and lived amongst sharp peaks, fed on the river, and climbed the mountains and you'll get to dive into the historical events of the Second World War, the roots of “the Golden Train”. Moving at a slow pace will allow you the opportunity to capture stunning photographs of the breathtaking natural scenery passing by from the comfort of your window seat. You will get a short break at our final stop at Bjorli train station. Here you can disembark the train and take in the serene beauty of the surrounding nature outside. After a short break, hop back on and continue your incredible journey, as the train is making its way back to Åndalsnes. Hop on board and let’s explore the wonders of the Golden Train together!

This 3-hours audio-guided tour will start right next to the harbor. Leaving the center and entering the beautiful Rauma Valley, along the Rauma River filled with salmon and the impressive mountains on both sides, our journey takes us to the first photo stop at the Trollwall. After getting our first impressions of the imposing mountain scenery, we will continue towards Trollstigen. We will cross over the "Sogge Bridge" into the beautiful Isterdal Valley, where the spectacular "Trollstigen" serpentine road begins. Our coach driver will take us up 11 hairpin bends to the plateau, where we will have the next photo stop. From a spectacular lookout, we can see the entire scenery of this impressive mountain road, including the surrounding peaks and the wild Stigfossen waterfall. After a definitely unforgettable time on the top of Trollstigen, the route descends back down to Åndalnes. We are happy invite you to join our kayak trip on the Romsdalsfjord from Åndalsnes. A paddle tour goes to exciting area toward majestic Romsdalsalpene and Isfjorden. This tour is an incredible adventure to the world of stunning mountains, cascading waterfalls and picturesque landscapes. There is no better way to explore the fjords of Norway than from a kayak. Our guides meet you at Adventure Center in Åndalsnes where the guests will get equipped with all the mandatory equipment and get a safety briefing before we start our kayak experience.

This tour starts from the city center of Åndalsnes where you will be picked up by bus. Along the way to Trollstigen, our guide will give you the most interesting stories from the area, both historic events as well as more current situations, such as the big avalanche on top of Trollstigen during the Easter week last year. When on the bus, you have every possibility to just enjoy the view while listening to the guide. On top of Trollstigen, you have almost 1 hour at your own disposal. This will give you the time to walk to the viewpoint, buy something at the kiosk and/or gift shop, or maybe you would like to take a short walk through the beautiful mountain landscape? Afterwards, the bus will descend the curvy Trollstigen road again and drive back Åndalsnes.

A guide will take you up with the gondola and take you on a hike around the top of the mountain. You will be walking on a prepared gravel path, and will be offered a good mix of stories from the region, ranging from 1800-history to current events. If you are lucky you might learn about a few secret, secluded spots where you can find inner peace among majestic mountains. This guided activity includes a return gondola ticket. The Romsdalen Gondola is this years' experience, a shortcut to the fantastic fjord and mountain views of Romsdalen. It takes you 708 height meters from the fjord and up to the mountain Nesaksla, located right above the town of Åndalsnes, surrounded by the famous Romsdalen mountains. Embark on an exhilarating e-bike and hike adventure that seamlessly blends the trill of electric biking with the serenity of a picturesque mountain hike, taking you from the charming town of Åndalsnes to the breathtaking summit of Litlefjellet. The tour starts with a 15 km bike ride along the fjord from our activity center in Åndalsnes toward Isfjorden and Vejedalen valley. The second stretch is a 1 hour walk on an hiking pass to the summit of Litlefjellet where the view is absolutely worth the effort. After some rest and local snacks at the top we will revers our steps back to the civilization. Duration: 5 hours Distance biking: 30 km (15 km each way) Time hiking - 1 hour, distance hiking - 2 km. Begin your adventure with a drive to the Troll Wall, Europe’s tallest vertical rock face. Don’t forget to look behind you to see the famous Romsdalshorn. After a photo stop of approximately 15 minutes, the real adventure begins. Drive all the way up Trollstigen (Troll Road), a road built in 1936 with 11 hairpin bends. Every bend has a name, which you can find on the signs placed in every curve. On the side of the road, the mountains the King, the Queen, and the Bishop will be watching over you. At the end of Trollstigen, have another break at the Trollstigen plateau. Here you will find a restaurant, restrooms, a souvenir shop, and a paved path which will lead you to two platforms. Enjoy the stunning view over the valley, Trollstigen, and its surrounding mountains.

Romsdalen Gondola and yoga at Eggen Restaurant. A local yoga teacher meets you at the Romsdal gondola and together you take the 5-minute gondola ride to the top of Nesaksla and Eggen Restaurant. Here you get some time to look around and find peace before the yoga class starts. Our certified yoga teacher will take you to an hour of hatha, vinyasa or yin yoga, with a view of the finest mountains. Take care of your body and mind with yoga in very special surroundings. We always end with a good relaxation. No prior knowledge is required, the class is suitable for everyone. After the class, the kitchen has prepared a delicious healthy and nutritious smoothie (vegan). There are also opportunities to take a mountain hike and/or enjoy a meal at Eggen Restaurant. The gondola runs every full and half hour, so you can get back down whenever it suits you.
