Discover some of the most historic sites and scenic spots in the Netherlands on a day trip from Amsterdam. After a hotel pickup, listen to stories about the history of the country from your guide as you travel in a luxury minivan on a small-group or private tour.

Start your journey by heading to Rotterdam, the largest seaport in Europe, known for its maritime heritage and modern architecture. Learn about the near-complete destruction of the city center in World War II that resulted in a varied architectural landscape.

Afterward, travel to Delft, renowned for its blue pottery. Enjoy time to sit in the market square to have lunch. Enrich your experience by opting for a visit to the Royal Delft, the only remaining earthenware factory from the 17th century where Delft Blue ceramics are still made.

In the afternoon, continue to the political city of The Hague. Explore the administrative and royal capital of the Netherlands and its seat of government. Choose to visit the Madurodam miniature park, home to a range of 1:25 scale model replicas of Dutch landmarks and historical cities.

Our guide Leidse was fantastic! He even squeezed in two extra stops that we wanted to see! He had a ton of knowledge, was very funny and helped us all the time with pictures, poses, etc. He was great. Managed everyone's time so we all felt like we got what we wanted out of it. Ride was comfortable and spacious. Would 100% use Leidse as a guide again when we go back!
