Our trip to Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius (plus our lunch afterward) was wonderful!! We were picked up directly from our hotel and taken to Pompeii for a tour with Sasa, who was clearly so passionate about the ruins! Then we were driven to Vesuvius and had around an hour to hike. Be aware - it's STEEP. Steeper than I even thought, but it only takes about 30 minutes to get up to the main mouth of the volcano so you can definitely do it! Just wear light fabric and comfy shoes :) Our winery lunch afterward was great as well - food and wine were both good! The winery was a bit strange (small and more casual than any other I've been to before) but the staff was kind and we had no issues - just don't expect some sort of big castle winery like you see in pictures.

A very full day!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Pompeii with Francesco (Franky)!!! He was both knowledgeable and entertaining. He was incredible and the tour was very informative and enjoyable! We enjoyed climbing Mount Vesuvius and the winery lunch and wine-tasting! It was a pricey day but very worth it!
