What an incredible and emotional experience. We had the most beautiful day - slightly too perfect in fact as there wasn’t enough wind for us to sail without motor assistance but it was lovely being able to bask in the sunshine and listen to the really informative engaging narrative from the skipper as we navigated the harbour right up to the mouth of the basin. We saw lots of wildlife including several pods of hector dolphins and we sat and listened to pipe music as they seemed to dance to it around the boat. We heard about the history of the area and saw penguins and fur seals as well as numerous types of shag and other sea birds. Highly recommend this wonderful and great value experience.
Got to see so many dolphins that came up and swam so close to us. Charlotte and Chris, our guides, were both super knowledgeable and helpful, and made the journey even more fun. The showers after were a great touch and so lovely to get warm after.
One of the best experiences we had whilst travelling the country. The team were great, loads of interesting facts and stops along the way. We were very lucky with the amount of dolphins we saw!
Saw alot of hector dolphins and fur seals. Boat was really good and so were the staff. Captain was very knowledgeable about the area with excellent commentary. Thoroughly recommend!
