A very fun and enjoyable experience of sailing and a great experience with amazing crew! Weather was decent for 1 of the days but the crew made up for what was some rather... fun weather otherwise!

They took us to the best snorkelling spots and the boat deck was nice. The snorkelling was amazing. The coral was beautiful with lots of fish. The food was really good: all made fresh on the boat. The crew was nice: Captain Tom, Claire and Dylan. The crew tried their best to give us the best experience. It would’ve been nice to know ahead of time your on the boat with 25 other people plus the 3 crew member’s. It came as a shock. I needed to mentally prepare myself for that and not showering for 2 days. I put conditioner in my hair prior to going into the ocean and left it in which helped my hair. The shower is a hose and you can only use it for 30 seconds to a minute. The weather was hot but the snorkelling and the Whitsundays made up for it. I didn’t sleep well the first night but the second night I slept like a dead log in my bed. Most people slept on the top deck on both nights. Pack snacks if you don’t want to wait for meal times: it was a lot of activity.

Full description

Set sail on a 2-day, 2-night adventure with Prosail Whitsundays. Explore the magical Whitsunday Islands onboard a maxi yacht. Your experienced crew will ensure you make it to the hottest spots of the Whitsunday Islands, the world-famous Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet Lookout, and vibrant coral reefs while experiencing real adventure sailing in between.

Indulge in delicious meals prepared by the fun and friendly crew, who'll make you feel at home aboard the yacht. These tours are perfect for young adventurers (and the young at heart) looking for an action-packed Whitsunday sailing adventure.

Itinerary
Please note that our itinerary is subject to change based on weather conditions and tides.

Day 1: Airlie Beach – Whitsunday Islands
Meet your crew and fellow adventurers for a 2 pm departure from Coral Sea Marina. Set sail towards the Whitsundays, arriving at one of our favorite beach locations to hang out, swim, and watch the sunset while grazing on delicious snacks.

Once back on board, you will head to your overnight anchorage location, where it’s time to enjoy dinner and dessert, get to know your new mates, have a few drinks, relax under the stars, and let the calm water gently rock you to sleep.

Day 2: Whitsunday Islands
Wake up to a yummy breakfast as you cruise to Tongue Bay. Take a scenic bushwalk to Hill Inlet. Look for breathtaking views of Whitehaven Beach and the swirling sands of the inlet. Once you have perfected your shots, head down to spend a relaxing 3 hours on Whitehaven beach.

Lunch is served back on board before you set sail to your two handpicked snorkel destinations with plenty of marine life once you are snorkeled out (if there is such a thing), head to another one of our favorite beach locations for sunset snacks before heading to your overnight anchorage.

Day 3: Whitsunday Islands – Airlie Beach
Soak up the stunning scenery surrounding you while you eat breakfast before heading off for one last snorkel or a guided bush walk on one of the islands. We then set sail back to Airlie Beach, arriving around 11 am.

But the fun doesn't stop there! Enjoy the afternoon in Airlie, return to your accommodation, freshen up, and join your new friends for an after-party with a reserved table, meal deals, and drink discounts.

A very affordable and fun way to experience the Whitsunday Islands. It was quite a bit cramped and sweaty at times with 25 passengers plus the crew on board but our amazing crew made all the difference; thank you Claire, Dylan and Captain Tommy for a phenomenal trip on the Broomstick! They planned our locations for snorkelling based on the best spots available for the weather and it was amazing having such knowledgeable crew. Not a reflection of the crew, but I do wish that Prosail would provide reef-safe sunscreen as part of their sustainability practices. There is also limited showering available so no need to bring shampoo or other shower supplies.
