This trip of 4 hours was the cornerstone of our holiday. 30 minutes from our hotel, we stopped by the roadside to see a herd of goats living in a tree, and the goat-herder move them on to the next one with a whistle. We explored private courtyards in ancient Taroudant and learned how the walls were built (what are those holes for?). We walked through a Berber market with no sign of tourism or tourists - the stalls sold spices and basic foodstuffs, raw cloth and handmade footwear; not a tourist gift wooden camel in sight. We ended our stay in a palace-turned-hotel for drinks in lush gardens. Many thanks to our erudite guide, Mohammed, who was knowledgeable about our tour and Morocco in general, and who made possible a trip into properly authentic Morocco that 4 naïve tourists would not otherwise experience.

We had never visited Morocco before and wanted to experience something away from the main centres so decided to visit Taroudant. We weren't disappointed as it was completely different to what we had encountered before. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for different culture.

This was a perfect half day trip from Agadir, and a chance to see the local culture in "Little Marrakesh". We booked at 8pm and was picked up at 8:30 the next morning with zero issues. Our guide, Ilias was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable! I will only go on other tours with him as our guide. He is flexible and will do help you with whatever your interests are! Excellent tour and superb guide. I wish I could give him 10 stars out of 5! Thank you so much for a great time and an intimate view of the Moroccon culture!
