Fantastic experience. I would suggest the staff to make an introduction about the circuit in form of a map and to show give some details (about speed, gear, etc.). In the circuit there are external yellow cones in each curve. These cones indicate thet there is a curve, however if you do not know the circuit, they do not bring so many advantages.

Full description

Step up your driving game and get your adrenaline pumping with a Caterham 7 driving experience in the company of an expert driving instructor. Charm meets modern technology in this super-lightweight sports car by Caterham Cars. This modern reproduction of an old Lotus design can compete with the most powerful supercars. Drive at a blistering pace with this brilliantly fast machine at Yas Marina Circuit, home of the Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix.

Upon arrival at the track, attend a safety briefing with a senior instructor. Learn about racing lines, braking points, overtaking rules, dos and don’ts, and general track safety rules.

After your safety briefing, enter the track to start your adrenalin-packed driving experience, with expert coaching to improve your driving skills. Afterward, head back to the pit lane for a cool down and debrief with your instructor. Friends and family are welcome to watch you on the track from the raised viewing terrace near the food and beverage outlets.

  • For non-UAE license holders, drivers should have held their license for at least one year.
  • Drivers should hold a clear copy of their driver's license and present the same if requested to do so by the customer service team.

Rudy was an awesome guide for the Caterham experience. He studies your driving skills and depending on that he let you do your thing and you can push to your personal limit or the limit of the car (which has no ABS, no ESC and sequential pedal shifting which is great for enthusiasts!) You should in any case do the 10min drive since you need time to get to know the car. Info: You will only drive on a little part of the racetrack since there are 3 events on the track at the same time (Formula, Aston Martin GT4 and Caterham). You can check the layout on the website of the provider. As car enthusiast who does trackdays quite often I highly recomment this event since it offers much value for the money. Spectators/partner can see you all the time and take pics/videos for free.
